Ingram said he was asked five questions and ended up asking four of them.
“I didn’t get a chance to ask him all the things I wanted to ask him,” he said.
Ingram is the second interviewer who now says Biden’s aides approached him with questions to ask the president this week. Earlier today, another local radio host who interviewed Biden this week told CNN she was asked to ask Biden questions before the interview.
Ingram told ABC News he didn’t think there was necessarily anything wrong with that approach. “I think I’m going to have more opportunities than anyone expected to ask the president of the United States any question,” he said.
He went on to say he was grateful for the opportunity to interview Biden.
“Of course, they gave me this opportunity … it means a lot to me,” Ingram said.
Earlier Saturday, Andrea Lawful-Sanders, host of WURD’s “The Source,” said on CNN that Biden officials provided her with a list of eight questions ahead of the interview with Biden.
“These questions were sent to me for approval; I approved them,” he said.
“I had several questions, eight of them,” he continued. “And the four that were chosen were the ones I approved.”
In a statement responding to Legal Sanders, Biden campaign spokeswoman Lauren Hitt said it was not “unusual” for interviewees to share their favorite topics. He noted that Legal Sanders was “free” to ask any questions he saw fit. He also noted that it was the campaign that asked the questions, not the White House as other reports have claimed.

Another local radio host, Sherwin Hughes of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, said the White House did not send him any questions to ask Biden when he interviewed him last month, and said there were no preconditions for the interview: “There were none of that,” he told ABC News.
