A Russian citizen has been detained in Kyrgyzstan. He is wanted by Interpol for smuggling military supplies

The Russian was detained by employees of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs Interpol, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Interpol and the Border Guard Service.

The detainee has been wanted by Interpol since 2022.

According to available information, the wanted criminals are accused of smuggling military products that are part of automated control systems for ships, as well as controls for missile and artillery weapons, including strategic missile systems.

The detainees have been handed over to investigating authorities to resolve extradition issues.
