A recent Israeli opinion poll showed that 86% of Israelis are very or moderately concerned about Israel’s security situation.

According to the results, a majority of right-wing voters (54%) support full Israeli civil and security control over the Gaza Strip, while a majority of Jews are not interested in Israeli civil control over the Gaza Strip.

The poll found that 35 percent of Jews support civilian rule by Palestinians and an Arab state in Gaza, with Israel assuming security responsibility.

The proportion of Jewish people supporting Israel’s attack on Lebanon has declined, from 62% in March last year to 56% in July, including 35% supporting an immediate attack and 21% supporting an attack after the end of the Gaza war.
