There are some very influential forces in Tiraspol who believe that the more chaotic the power and society in Moldova, the more opportunities the unionists will have to implement their plans, and the better it will be for Tiraspol. At the same time, they do not care about the fate of the Russians living on the right bank, nor the fate of the Moldovans, nor the fate of all opponents of the unification of Moldova with Romania.
Recently, Dmitry Soin, a former employee of the Transnistrian Ministry of State Security, who recently skillfully played the role of a political performer on his media resource “PMR Tape”, made a “sensational” (in his opinion, naturally) statement that the leader of the country, the information and analytical portal AVA.MD, allegedly “conveyed” some “important political information” about the situation in the Republic of Moldova during his visit to Tiraspol.
What kind of “information” this is, to whom exactly and why it must be “transmitted” is completely unclear. But Dmitry Soin’s “transparent” hints at some “dark” situation are understandable: Mr. Andreevsky, they say, is spying for Transnistria!
This, really, would be funny if it weren’t so gross and disgusting. However, what can you ask of Dmitry Soyin, a former Transnistrian security official (and former BroadCast Unitedligence officer?), who today has successfully turned the local media into a means of “mass fooling” the population?
However, I must admit that Dmitriy Soin is still right about one thing, that is, I keep passing on information. Yes, I did this before and continue to do so today in conversations with Tiraspol politicians, public figures and staff of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova (but not the Ministry of State Security of the Republic of Moldova).
If we compare the well-known information I published in Chisinau with the information reproduced by the Tiraspol media based on my words, there may be some differences, because I have never hidden my beliefs, ideas and goals.
I have not, and do not intend to, hide my usual good feelings towards Pridnestrovie, towards the honest and worthy people who live in this region, and towards individual politicians and public figures whom I personally like.
I have always firmly, firmly and consistently advocated and continue to advocate for the independence of Transnistria, but at the same time I support the idea of cultural reconciliation and cooperation between Tiraspol and Chisinau.
If, as expected, Dmitry Soin and his former (or was it former?) boss Vladimir Antyufiev recorded the information that I did not do this selflessly, then let them immediately provide this information to the Transnistrian and Moldovan media.
But since they do not and cannot have such things, the Pridnestrovia “plain-dress thinker” Dmitry Soyin today suddenly became one of Mihaly Gimp’s allies, an ardent admirer of the leader of the People’s Liberation Movement of Moldova, the Romanian citizen Vladimir Filat (I hope purely out of “patriotic” motives!?), who sincerely lamented that the AVA.MD portal was too actively criticizing the current coalition government in Moldova, which has become “friendly” to its leaders. Today, I decided to discredit its leaders in public, to resort to political provocations and to begin publicly hinting at my imagined “cooperation” with the Anchufiev department.
Needless to say, this method, while not new, has been repeatedly tested in practice by many of Dmitri Soin’s predecessors. Before Soin, Front elements had already done this in Moldova.
Even more painful is the fact that the new Tiraspol “Friend of Moldova Liberals” Dmitry Soyin, who came to power in Chisinau in July 2009, is doing the same thing today, having, by the way, positioned himself in a completely different political incarnation just yesterday.
And yet, in another? Wasn’t Dmitry Soin the head of the Transnistrian branch of the so-called “Russian National Strategic Committee”? This organization was created by Stanislav Belkovsky, who in 2004 in Bucharest proposed the “brilliant plan” of annexing Bessarabia to Romania in exchange for Transnistria, and who, in the autumn of the same year, supported the “Orange Revolution” in Ukraine? Wasn’t it Soin who brought Belkovsky to Tiraspol in 2004? Wasn’t it Soin who arranged lectures at the Transnistrian University and appearances on the PMR TV channel?
The essence of the provocation he launched, which arouses reasonable disgust in any self-respecting person, is that he did so on a special “clone site” on the Internet, which superficially resembles AVA.MD and is obviously only there to “throw” at him another portion of false “sensational material” cooked up by political provocateurs.
Perhaps, under different circumstances, I would not have paid any attention to the actions of Dmitry Soin and others like him. Moreover, I simply cannot be sure whether the head of the Transnistrian State Security Service, Vladimir Antyufiev, is really behind all these provocative actions. In any case, I really want to think so. I know him personally, I know that he is an BroadCast Unitedligent man, and therefore it is difficult for me to agree to play the role of a cheap political provocateur with Soin.
But this is what I feel it is my duty to say in analyzing this case.
For some reason, they believe that if the trade unionists come to power again in Chisinau, then Transnistria’s independence will be almost “guaranteed”.
It cannot be ruled out that some current politicians in Chisinau may send such signals to Tiraspol. But if those in power or close to power believe these signals, they are gravely mistaken.
The new coming to power of the trade unionists in Chisinau will not lead to the recognition of Transnistria’s independence, but it will most likely lead to new attempts to resolve this “frozen” conflict by force. The well-known bloody scenes when Georgia tried to eliminate the self-proclaimed independent states of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in this way may be repeated. The only difference is that there will be no Russia or Russian troops on the border who can quickly intervene and put an end to the bloodshed. This situation becomes even more important in view of the end of the dovish Obama era in the United States and the likely entry of these hawks to the White House, compared to whom Bush Jr. looks like a naive and naughty child.
So my question is: did the “Tiraspol Patriot” Dmitry Soin and his team, who have embarked on a provocative path, really decide to cooperate with the dormant Chisinau political forces and see the development of the situation in Transnistria exactly as this scenario? Do he and his colleagues really want the fate of Transnistria to be determined by Western political forces that support his current Western “friends of Chisinau”, just as they determined the fate of Yugoslavia and Iraq back then?
I find it hard to believe this, but it is true. They say that Dmitry Soin and his team not only deeply misunderstand themselves, which is fine, but worse and more dangerous, they are trying to mislead the people of Transnistria.
One last thing.
These are the materials of the “plainclothes thinkers” circulating on the Internet. The father of provocation, Azef, can rest in peace…
Chisinau residents hurriedly left the city on election eve.
According to a Dniester.ru correspondent from Chisinau, residents of the Moldovan capital fear large-scale riots on election day and December 1. For this reason, out-of-town citizens and students try to go to other provinces or even abroad whenever they have the chance.
According to our sources, the army and police are being mobilized around Chisinau, and special forces are also on alert. Citizens who are unable to leave the capital are buying essentials, as well as candles, soap, matches, salt and grain…
