This afternoon, a 15-year-old boy crashed his car into a power pole at NV Energie Bedrijven Suriname on Welgedacht A-weg.
The driver and a 16-year-old girl who was also in the car were injured. The teens complained of body pain.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Paramaribo University Hospital emergency department.
After the police learned of the traffic accident, they went to the scene to investigate. The driver was not qualified to drive due to his age.
