On Sunday, the Tribi community and Jan in Tiznit province organized a free medical event involving several specialties, benefiting about 300 people from vulnerable families.

The medical event was organized at the initiative of the Wajan Group and Al-Khair Social Work Association and aims to provide examinations and consultations in the specialties of general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as therapeutic interventions in the following specialties: oral and dental medicine and ophthalmology.

The medical event was organized by the community health center to provide medical assistance to the target group, providing medical services and therapeutic interventions, especially dental treatment, in addition to providing guidance and advice on good health habits to the beneficiaries.

In this regard, Hoda Al-Kindi, Regional Representative (Acting) of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Tiznit, said in a press statement that these measures are aimed at bringing health services closer to the local population, especially those in need, promoting access to basic health treatments, and reducing the transportation burden on the body and patients.

She added that the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with elected councils and civil society associations, regularly and continuously organizes multidisciplinary health campaigns and convoys in the context of developing mobile health services in rural areas.

In this campaign, which involves medical, nursing and administrative teams, the Regional Delegation of Health and Social Security strives to take all appropriate measures and arrangements in order to provide the right conditions and all the necessary means to facilitate the organization of the campaign.

To this end, in addition to the voluntary participation of medical and health personnel, human and logistical resources were mobilized, and medical equipment and various sufficient supplies were provided to ensure the success of the event.

It is worth noting that the event was organized in partnership with the Al-Khair Social Work Association, in coordination with the Tiznit Regional Committee and the Moroccan Red Crescent (Tiznit branch), and under the supervision of the Regional Delegation of the Moroccan Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
