On Wednesday at noon, police arrested a 25-year-old man who was alleged to have occupied Greek Cypriot property in the occupied part of the republic.
It is understood that the 25-year-old suspect was arrested at Paphos Airport on a court warrant as he was preparing to travel to another European country.
He has been detained and is expected to appear in court tomorrow for a personal detention order to investigate the case.
He is being investigated for fraudulent transactions in other people’s real estate, illegal possession, occupation and use of land registered by others, as well as money laundering and other related crimes.
