The dead 24-year-old Slovak was found dead by fellow citizens in an apartment in Vienna’s Favoriten district. The incident took place on Sunday, but local police spokesman Markus Dittrich did not report it until Wednesday, TASR wrote, according to the heute.at portal.
Since the cause of death could not be determined on the spot, an autopsy was ordered. The information showed that the Slovak died of a head injury. It is not clear how he found them, so the case has been taken over by the criminal police.
The two Slovaks lived in the apartment with several other compatriots and a Jordanian. The victim shared a room with two other men. Police are investigating whether the roommates were involved in the Slovaks’ deaths.
