Mexico City (apro) – Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the virtual candidate for the presidency of the Republic, thanks Mexicans for giving her 35.8 million votes, equivalent to 59.7% of the votes cast on June 2.
In a video he recorded in his office and circulated on social networks, he assured: “This message is to tell you, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
The former head of the Mexico City government stressed that she had seen the results of the precinct calculations by the National Electoral Institute (INE) and highlighted a figure based on 99.8% of the vote counts:
Xóchitl Gálvez of PRI-PAN-PRD: 16.4 million votes, 27.4%.
Jorge Álvarez Máynez from Movimiento Ciudadano: 6.1 million votes, 10.3% of the votes.
Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo from Morena-PT-PVEM: 35.8 million votes, 59.7% of the votes.
The brunette put her hands on her chest and said: “I’m really excited and I want to thank you again. I believe that this result is a recognition by the Mexican people that we are on the right track and their confidence that we will continue to advance the fourth transformation.”
Scheinbaum Pardo added: “Our belief has always been and will always be in open dialogue, strengthening freedom, democracy and, of course, close relations with the Mexican people.”
As he said at the end of his presidential campaign and in his speech at the end on June 2, he pledged: “We will continue to build shared prosperity. I will not let you down. We are experiencing the second layer of the fourth change.”
AMLO’s message has been saved
The virtually elected candidate said she heard President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, during a “morning” meeting this Thursday, talk about a message he sent her on the evening of Sunday, June 2.
“I want to tell you that I have kept it with great emotion and gratitude, and I prefer that he told you about it and I share it with you,” he added.
Incidentally, the former head of the Tlalpan delegation commented that the electoral representatives of the coalition she represents “continue to follow the calculations of the Senate and the Federal Council in all (electoral) districts”.
This video message is the second one that Morenstadt has recorded so far this week and circulated on social networks from the office she held after she resigned as head of the CDXM government and began her campaign for the presidency.
So far, Claudia Scheinbaum Pardo has not held any press conferences. On Monday the 3rd, his press team announced that there would be one, but a few minutes later he canceled it.
