Last week, city tycoon Karim Hirji and his lover Cissy Karim threw a lavish birthday party for their triplets in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which Snoops estimated cost at least Sh100 million and maybe more.
According to people familiar with the matter, the wedding reception was more grand in terms of pomp, food and drinks than most ordinary wedding receptions in Kampala.
They thought it looked more like a family engagement ceremony than a toddler’s birthday party with both families in attendance, as well as close friends of Sissi who live in Dubai and people who flew to the UAE from Kampala for the event.
For some time, the popular wealthy city businessman had been giving Xixi many gifts, and Xixi had lived a luxurious life ever since.
The city hotel owner is said to have spent nearly Sh100 million on lavish birthday parties for his three sons when they turned five.
We hear the party also includes paying for flights and hotels for guests who will fly to Dubai from various destinations to attend the party.
It was revealed that the tycoon rented out a section of the popular amusement park so the boys could enjoy themselves.
The source also revealed that since Xixi met the tycoon, she and her close friends have been living a luxurious life. We understand that Xixi is now enjoying the unlimited cash flow and expensive gifts provided by the tycoon.
Two months ago, it was revealed that the tycoon spent nearly Sh1 billion to buy her two latest Mercedes models to thank her for the unconditional love she gave him after the death of his first wife, Christine Kibirig Karim.
Sources said Cissy has invested billions of dollars to buy luxury apartments in Kololo and Nakasero, with a total of about 12 different fully furnished apartments available for rent.
However, the mogul has kept their relationship hidden from the public eye for some time.
Cissy Hirji posted a slideshow on her social media platform that included several photos of the triplets during the party.
As can be seen in these photos, the triplets had a blast playing around in Dubai’s top amusement and theme parks.
