Now it’s time for another installment… Planet Currency Forecast! *air horn*
last yearLast year, we asked two economic forecasters to tell us their predictions for jobs, the housing market, and inflation. Now they’re back again. That means it’s time to find out whose predictions were more accurate and send the winner to the next round, where they’ll face off against a new forecasting genius.
Housing and inflation have cooled since we last published the game, but the job market remains strong. The chances of a recession remain significant. Our forecasters tell us how they currently feel about the economy and what they expect to happen in the coming months.
This episode was produced by James Sneed, curated by Katherine Silva, fact-checked by Sierra Juarez, and edited by Molly Messick. Jess Jiang is our acting executive producer.
