The family of French explorer Paul-Henri Nalguelet, who died in the Titanic submersible implosion, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday seeking more than $50 million in damages, saying the crew faced “fear and mental anguish” before the disaster and accusing the submersible operator OceanGate of gross negligence. The lawsuit claims that during a dive at the Titanic wreck site in June 2023, the crew realized their fate before the submersible imploded.
