The Government continues to implement its policy of increasing the public stock of affordable housing. In this sense, the Council of Ministers today approved the award of the drafting and direction of the second building in the Borda Nova area of Andorra la Vella to Altura Architecture, at a cost of 4.39% with a deadline of 20 weeks regarding the quantity of work and the drafting of the project. This new block will be added to the one currently under construction, which consists of 44 apartments and is located on a plot ceded by the Commune of the capital in March 2020, between Carrer Terra Vella and the Borda Nova access in the capital.

On the other hand, Andorra will sign the ninth agreement for the avoidance of tax evasion and double taxation. In this case, it will be the CDI with Montenegro, which will be signed in September at a bilateral meeting at the UN headquarters in New York. The General Council must approve it.
