Yesterday, the Red Sea Fund announced the opening of registration for the fourth phase, dedicated to supporting film projects in the post-production stage, which will last until August 21, 2024. The fund accepts applications from directors of Arab and African origin and nationalities, and is open to feature-length narrative projects of at least 60 minutes, as well as documentaries and animated films.

The fund supports projects after they have been filmed, which are subject to the ongoing process to reach a final version, including feature films of no less than 60 minutes, either narrative or animated, shot by directors of Arab origin, or Africans of any nationality.

The Red Sea Fund is an active force in financing Arab and African films, with four cycles including support for projects in the development, production and post-production stages.

Notably, the fund has supported more than 250 films since its launch in 2021 and has launched initiatives to support the film industry, including celebrating women and funding graduate films. The fund also partners with international film festivals to offer grants for outstanding projects. The fund also seeks out filmmakers from the region, including documentaries, fiction and animation.

The Red Sea Fund invites those who wish to apply in Phase 4 to register via the following electronic link: https://redseafilmfest.com/ar/red-sea-fund/.
