India’s largest airline, Air India, has resumed flights to Dhaka, which were suspended on Monday due to the political crisis in Bangladesh.

Milli.Az, with reference to report.az, reported that the company stated this in a message published on the “X” social network.

Air India will start operating evening flights AI 237/238 on Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi route from August 6,” the airline said in a statement.

Additionally, Air India is also offering discounts to passengers who have confirmed rebooking of any flights to and from Dhaka between August 4 and 7 in view of the current situation in Dhaka.

It is to be noted that the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the Bangladesh capital has resumed operations after being closed due to the unstable situation in the country.
