The Al Wakra Sports Club Youth Team ended its summer activities under the motto “Summer for the People of the South in 2024 AD”, with the curtains falling on last Thursday on activities and events that lasted for (6) weeks between 06/27 and 08/01/2024 AD.
Many (22) specialized activities and events with educational and cultural value were organized, including activities to enhance Qatari culture and identity, knowledge visits, social and life skills workshops, and various daily sports, athletics and combat activities. It is worth noting that the event was well attended and enthusiastic, with more than (600) Qatari citizens and residents, both men and women, participating, with a participation rate of more than 55% of Qatari citizens.
All of this is within the summer activity plan, which is coordinated in advance with the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs to make full use of the summer vacation time within the standards and controls approved by the Ministry.
The ceremony included games and competitions, awarding prizes to winners and standouts, and recognizing young Qatari volunteers. This summer event received great recognition and interest from parents, who added a wonderful family atmosphere and stood by them in most activities and events.
