Kyrgyzstan State Tax Service introduces simplified sales tax reporting in taxpayer accounts on its website Cabinet Office.
After testing and refinement, the updated form is now available to taxpayers in the eReport module of the Submit Report section.
The new form will be used for reporting periods beginning July 1, 2024.
Let us recall that earlier, the tax department had simplified the sales tax returns to make it easier for taxpayers to submit returns to the tax authorities.
Major changes include:
– Reduce the number of sales tax reporting forms to two: Form STI-129 for small and large businesses and Form STI-130 for medium-sized businesses;
– Introducing the ability to automatically calculate tax when selecting the desired tax rate from a drop-down list;
– Optimized the form structure to facilitate the use of the service. Users can access three active cells, such as income, tax rate and tax amount;
– Exclusion of applications from the reporting form for medium-sized enterprises, which previously required the entry of additional information.
