June 6, Baku, Azerbaijan. All Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) facilities are expected to have autonomous control of all oil wells without human intervention by the end of 2027, Chris Cooper, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), said at a panel discussion on the theme of “New Technologies and Digitalization” at the 29th Baku Energy Forum held in Azerbaijan on June 5. trend report.
“We are developing AI-driven solutions that work both at the drilling level as well as at the well and reservoir level. In the processing and sales areas, we are exploring the possibility of developing digital twins to enable predictive analytics on plant components. We also offer solutions for measuring, monitoring and reducing emissions.
In addition, we also offer solutions focused on occupational health and safety. We understand the importance of environmental factors while also prioritizing health and safety. Now, I would like to highlight some of these solutions to provide an overview of how AI is currently being used in ADNOC and where we plan to go in the future.
“For example, we have a product called RoboWell, which is not a robot, but a digital system that integrates artificial BroadCast Unitedligence,” Cooper explained.
According to him, the company’s solution can autonomously manage the throttle valves and adjust them according to the pressure in an onshore safety environment, such as a control room.
“This can result in a 2-5% increase in production capacity, a 50% improvement in well stability and a 30% reduction in gas lift. Think about what this means for your business: these are staggering numbers. Extrapolate these metrics to all wells and integrate them to see how they impact all reservoirs. This opens up huge opportunities and untapped value that we can help you realize,” the CEO mentioned.
He noted that AIQ uses artificial BroadCast Unitedligence to reduce emissions.
“We at AIQ use artificial BroadCast Unitedligence to reduce emissions and produce barrels with lower carbon content. Our goal is to do this globally,” Cooper added.
