iciHaiti – Jérémie : The diocese appoints 17 priests and pastors

Bishop Joseph Guntrond DeCoster announced on August 2, 2024, the list of 17 priests ordained in the Diocese of Jeremy, some of whom are priests of the district and others are priests of different parishes.

Father Pierre Joseph Sévigné was appointed pastor of St. Paul’s Conversion Parish in Leon;
Father Francine Bernard was appointed pastor of St. Pierre Aportel Parish in Colail;
Father Jorel Azor was appointed pastor of St. Anne Parish in Anse Amacón;
The Rev. Marc Edouard Alfred JULIEN was appointed pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Chameau;
Father Rajiv Fortier was appointed pastor of St. Victor’s Notre Dame Parish;
Father Rigaud JEAN BPTISTE was appointed parish priest of Saint Therese de Child Jesus Parish in Sicarde;
Father Dumitri Plessime has been appointed as the priest of St. Rose of Lima Parish in South Lundy;
Father Van Van Isela became the founding pastor of St. Mary Madeleine Parish in Boyer.
