Journalist and university professor Hayat Hariri has been awarded a PhD in International Relations and History from Saint Joseph University in Beirut with a distinction of 18/20, approved and unanimously agreed by the committee, the first time such a grade has been awarded. Thesis title: “The Rise of Rafik Hariri, 1979-1990”.
The discussion committee consisted of Professor Christian Babakian Assaf, Professor Carla Edde, Professor Ghassan Melhem, Professor Joseph Gemayel and Professor Souad Selim.
