In the week to Monday, June 3, 6,142 new cases of Covid-19 were reported, with one further death from the virus.
Canterbury has the most new active cases (738), followed by the ACT and Coast (552), then Auckland (518), Waitemata (485), Waikato (376) and Counties Manukau (359).
The West Coast had the fewest new cases, with just 17.
Among the newly reported cases, there were 4,663 active cases and 3,458 reinfection cases.
There are 314 hospitalized cases.
Last week, the Ministry of Health 6,146 new cases reportedalmost double the previous week.
