Nablus journalist Moaz Sharida said the city has not yet emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic; entering the Israeli war, which has lasted for 10 months, Hisba, which includes a large number of shops, suffered a major fire.

Sharida confirmed that purchasing power in Nablus has dropped to more than 35% and the closure of the university has paralyzed business activities, in addition to affecting 20,000 employees, as well as suspended workers and internal workers.
He confirmed that a large number of shops in Nablus were being sold or were under warranty, describing the figures as “horrifying”, but there was no follow-up on the matter by the competent authorities and no solutions on the ground, even at the minimum.
