In this sense, he indicated that in June, disturbances that generate tropical cyclones usually form near the Gulf of Mexico, while in July these phenomena begin to form near the arc of the Lesser Antilles, and it is there that the country can be seen affected. .
Likewise, Ceballos said the cyclone season lasts for six months, starting on June 1 and ending on November 30, with the most critical months being August and September.
