At approximately 7:04 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, Agent. Police officers attached to the Caguas Regional Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident at kilometer 26 of PR-52 Highway in the direction of Cay City toward Caguas.
According to uniformed police, there are minor injuries and traffic will be heavy on the road.
Authorities urged drivers to use alternative routes such as the PR-01 highway.
Explosion hits Naguabo residence
Authorities are investigating the explosion that occurred at a residence on Belém Street in the Promised Land Urbanization in Naguabo town.
Based on preliminary information, the 9-1-1 emergency system had received a call regarding the situation. Upon arrival, agents realized that residents of the location had been slightly impacted.
In addition, after the explosion, many parts of the interior of the house were damaged.
Personnel from the Puerto Rico Fire Department, Medical Emergencies and the Office of Emergency Management were on scene.
