In Mexico, about 400 protesters gathered this afternoon at the Simon Bolivar roundabout in the center of Mexico City, where they displayed a Venezuelan flag about 100 meters long, according to data provided by organizers.
In Bogota, flags and waves of blue, red and yellow also occupied the streets, with chants of “Down with dictatorship” and “Freedom”. “I want to go back to my country, I want to go back to my home,” said some of those present, while others claimed to feel “frustrated, but also confident”. “It’s best that Maduro should hand over power and leave. “We don’t want violence, we just want it to disappear… We just want peace,” they added.

Europe also spoke out, with hundreds of people gathering in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol despite the scorching heat, holding Venezuelan and Spanish flags and posters with messages like “Edmundo wins,” “Venezuela wins,” “Maduro has bullets, we have votes” and “SOS Venezuela.”
Similar images were also seen from Berlin, Germany, where the streets were dyed in the tricolor with calls for “Democracy for Venezuela” and “Put Down the Chains.”
Finally, Milan issued a cry that “the losers of the election must go”. “We have said this in all languages, Prime Minister Giorgia Meroni said it, the Italian Foreign Minister said it… We cannot tolerate that this is a country ruled by a dictatorship (…). Venezuela must restore democracy for the Venezuelan people”, said one of the people present, before confirming: “González has the votes, we will not rest, we will do everything to give González the power that Venezuelans gave him through the vote”.
