French police have arrested a 26-year-old Russian man of Ukrainian origin who detonated explosives on his body in a hotel room north of Paris, a source at France’s PNAT anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday.

The man was treated by firefighters on Monday after he “suffered severe burns in the explosion,” the source said.
