As the clock ticks, the Election Commission has announced that today, August 5, is the last day to submit applications for mail-in ballots related to the upcoming presidential election.
The Electoral Commission requires voters who have not yet applied for a mail-in ballot to submit their application at their designated regional election office before midnight.
The 2024 presidential election is scheduled for September 21
A total of 14 candidates paid the required deposit, of whom eight were from recognized political parties and five were from other political parties or independent candidates.
Nominations will be accepted from 9am to 11:30am on the 15th.
