August 4, 2024. – As part of the actions taken by the Bolivarian government to restore peace in the country, a shipment of 156 weapons of war and more than 6,000 pieces of ammunition of different calibers was seized this Saturday in Caracas. This was reported by the vice president of the Citizen Security and Peace Department, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichazo.
“Thanks to the efforts of our officers of the civil security agency, we have seized a large number of guns which were to be used in carrying out violent actions against the people,” he said.
During the operation, 156 war weapon parts and components; 6,221 rounds of ammunition of various calibres; riot helmets; a laptop computer and two bulletproof vests were seized.
Likewise, the Commander-in-Chief stressed that in a perfect civilian-military-police alliance, they are resisting all accusations and coup attempts against Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros, and that intelligence work continues to guarantee peace for the Venezuelan people.
