The US women’s volleyball team defeated the French team 3-0 with 29:27, 29:27, 25:20 in the third round of the Paris Olympics today and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Adrea Druz was the most efficient player in the US trials with 15 points. For the French national team, Halimatou Bah stood out with 14 points.
Later today, in the second match of the third round of Group A, Serbia and China will face off.
The United States team ranked first with 6 points, China ranked second with 5 points, and Serbia ranked third with 4 points. All three players have qualified for the OI quarterfinals.
The French team’s volleyball players did not earn any points and ranked last.
