Justin Timberlake pleads not guilty to drunk driving
The 43-year-old man was arrested on June 18 on Long Island, about 160 miles east of New York City and known as a popular summer tourist destination.
He was later released without bail, the district attorney said.
Timberlake was driving a BMW when he was arrested.

Police said they found “his eyes were extremely swollen, he had ingested a large amount of alcohol, was unable to connect words, spoke very slowly and failed all tests for a drinker”.
Timberlake appeared via video technology while on tour in Antwerp, Belgium, to promote his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was.
As Timberlake’s attorney Edward Burke told reporters, during Timberlake’s first court appearance, Judge Carl Erath ordered his New York driver’s license suspended during the trial.
Timberlake is married to actress Jessica Biel and has two children with her.
Burke also insisted that his “SexyBack” singer was not drunk when he was stopped by security. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for August 9.
In New York, a person convicted of driving under the influence could face up to a year in jail, a $1,000 fine (more than $1.3 million), and a suspension of their driver’s license for at least six months.
Timberlake is married to actress Jessica Biel and has two children with her.
