Anderson now began to speak, and his speech was surprisingly clear and understandable considering what he had just been through. He was also very calm in the face of failure. He admitted that he had made many mistakes and did not listen to himself tonight.

The two sides fought very fiercely at the beginning of the round, and then the game entered a slower stage as both sides took a short break.

But now they are attacking again! Bakole hits Anderson’s head back with a long pass!

Another uppercut from Bakole stung Anderson, but the American fought back with uppercuts of his own and some nice variations.

Anderson lands some clean punches, but Bakole is doing well so far… The Congolese counters with hooks and uppercuts, but misses with two wide hooks.

Anderson jabbed at his opponent, but Bakole kept pushing forward. Anderson tried to stop him with a pair of uppercuts, but then the two heavyweights grappled.

They split up and went at each other like crazy. It was so much fun.

Both were orthodox. Bakol lowered his hands.

He first hit Anderson with a left hook. Anderson countered with a jab, hitting him in the head and body.

Anderson was too fast. Bakole hit Anderson to the body first, then used some uppercuts that didn’t quite connect.

Anderson landed a cross body shot and then a jab in the same spot before he deftly moved his head to avoid Bakole’s counterattack.

Anderson throws left and right. Another one! Bakole is too steady. He gets hit again.

Oh! But Bakole fights back, knocking Anderson to the floor with a right hook and some follow-up jabs — the first knockout of his career!

Anderson got up and lasted until the end of the round, but that was it! Wow… what a comeback…

Next up is the heavyweight bout, with Martin Bakole taking on Jared Anderson.

Bakole has fought the best boxers and accused them of shunning him at the professional level…

The 32-year-old Congolese has a record of 20-1 (15 knockouts), while Anderson is 17-0 (15 knockouts).

The 24-year-old American is a promising prospect, but this could be a tough test for him.

David Morel defeated Radivoje Karadzic by unanimous decision (118-110, 117-111, 117-111)

Poor judgment. Karadzic did have more wins in those rounds.

That being said, Morrell was a fair winner, taking the vacant WBA light heavyweight title.

Enter the championship game. Karadzic launched a provocative shot into Morel’s defense.

Morel landed an uppercut and then a straight jab that landed cleanly on Karadzic, who connected with a jab and then choked the Cuban.

Karadzic’s cross was brilliant! It was the best goal of the match, and he hit the ball back over Morel’s head.

Morel tried to fight back but his accuracy was lacking.

Karadzic lands a low blow and the referee tries to call a timeout…but Morel wants to keep fighting.

The Cuban hit his opponent hard with a left hook to the body, but Karadzic knocked him to the ground at the same time.

Morel let go in the second half of the final – finishing the match strong.

Karadzic’s hook is great again! He throws a third one. This time the counter is great, another hook, and then another hook.

Morel really let go in the last 10 seconds of the round and he got Karadzic a little off balance!

This may be more than just a test for Morel; it is possible that the match will turn out to be more intense than Morel would like…

This time Morel managed to hit his opponent with a right hook.

Karadzic hit Morel at the end of his cross. Now, a jab broke the Cuban’s guard.

Karadzic is now fighting back. Punching. Morel looks confused.

He did land a couple of nice shots before the round ended, but that was a good result for Karadzic.

However, Karadzic performed very well, avoiding Morel’s follow-up attack and recovering. He even successfully completed a few counterattacks.
