The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Authority for the Development of Protected Areas has committed to training more than 100 rangers and employees for a total of 8,000 hours as part of the largest environmental protection and monitoring program of its kind in the Kingdom, using more than 40 drones in a technological system that includes the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence software and data science, according to the authority.
