Yesterday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman called for “an immediate end to the aggression and heinous crimes facing the people of Gaza.”
He was speaking during a reception for dignitaries and officials attending the Hajj season, adding: “We call on the international community to act and take all measures to guarantee the safety of lives in Gaza.”
He stressed the “importance of implementing the recent Security Council resolution on the proposal for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.”
He reiterated that “the Kingdom calls on the international community to recognize the independent State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, so that the fraternal Palestinian people can achieve their legitimate rights and achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.”
