An internal report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says the humanitarian parole program, which allowed 30,000 people from Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Haiti to live and work in the United States for two years, was subject to massive fraud.
Internal DHS documents show the department automatically accepts applications without verifying information provided by sponsors or applicants
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) reviewed thousands of applications “to identify patterns, trends and indicators of potential fraud,” according to the department’s internal investigation.
Internal report shows widespread fraud in application processspecifically, Thousands of false information used in I-134A formswhich is a document that a sponsor submits to USCIS for each alien applying for conditional residence.
Let’s recall that under the Biden administration’s plan, a total of 494,000 people would fly to the United States from these four countries between October 2022 and the end of June 2024.
Internal investigation by the Department of Homeland Security found Evidence of Fraud These included the use of false Social Security numbers (SSNs), including those of deceased individuals, and the use of false phone numbers. Many of the applications listed the same physical address. About 100 addresses were listed on more than 19,000 forms, and many conditional applicants applied from the same properties (including mobile home parks, warehouses, and storage units). In addition, many of the applications were submitted from the same IP address. As if that wasn’t enough, hundreds of applications provided the exact same answers to the I-134A questions, and in some cases, more than 10,000 applicants used the same answers.
According to Fox News, 3,218 sponsors filled out 100,948 forms…
As a result, the United States will temporarily suspend the conditional stay program for Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Haiti until the necessary verification is completed.
Tens of thousands of applications will be manually reviewed, and any discrepancies will render the relevant applications invalid.
