Barabino & Partners (Excellera Advisory Group) has been ranked at the top of the Mergermarket PR Advisors ranking for the first half of 2024, first in Italy and first in Europe. A recognition of the consulting firm, confirming its relevance both in the European neighbourhood and in the world. These are the results of the Mergermarket ranking, an independent international body that monitors and processes data related to M&A transactions at the international level, taking into account “mergers and acquisitions” business companies with more than 5% of the target company’s equity, occurring between January 1 and June 30, 2024.
Italy is the absolute leading communications consultancy in terms of both the number of operations (62) and the value of transactions (about $20 billion in total). It also dominates at the European level, with Barabino & Partners ranking third in terms of the number of transactions (64 in total) and eighth in terms of transaction value (about $24 billion in total). This is a particularly important result for a long-established Italian company that has launched important internationalization plans over the years. However, in the global ranking, the company ranks 10th in terms of the number of transactions (65) and 9th in terms of total value (more than $36 billion), with operations in the UK, France, the US and Latin America.
