Like a great explosion looking for a place to project itself, we can notice that desire is always present in our lives. It is present in every heartbeat, travels in the blood, and is what drives us secretly day after day because it lies in the foundation of our soul.
Desire, permanently shaped into a strict religious and moral framework, is synonymous with rebellion against static. It is a desire to know, to understand, to experience more sensually. It is an attempt to create something that is already born, but to realize it in someone else. I wish there was only one path, the natural path, the path that is born from within and emerges through simple human nature.
There is surely an oracle that records the reasons and moments of desire for each person; the uniqueness of each of them, characterized by their offense or permission. Only courage can give them the support they need, and a unique and powerful understanding of the mind that can shake human nature itself, even without matter.
As bio-psycho-social creatures, we know that the actions we take reverberate around us, to the point that they can change the reality that already exists. Therefore, if we evoke the great teachings of the Bhagavad Gita in the spiritual current of Hinduism, it tells us that when desire arises, one should not deny it, but rather place our thoughts on a higher level, questioning its existence. Observing its roots and how our actions will turn out, whether it will be beneficial for us and others, or is it just a desire that arises from a base state close to biological instincts, which after fulfilling it will produce a silent satisfaction, remembering that we were once prey just as in the primordial past.
Desires remind us that we are alive, that in most cases the happiness of wanting is implicit, organized in our minds with known elements but enhanced; in longing they may be waiting for talents and skills that we do not yet know we have but that do exist, waiting for the opportunity to appear and become art, inventions and ideas that they can show us and show others new perspectives.
A lot depends on the environment in our lives, the cradle in our minds, the fertile ground that encourages the gathering of seeds of later desires, which will grow in too much sunlight, or rot in too much water.
