Noise and confrontation with Evolution – Protesters spent the entire night near the company’s building, where their rights were restricted by security services. After protesters blocked all entrances to the building, a confrontation began between security guards and strikers. Evolution’s management opened an additional entrance from where they planned to evacuate the remaining employees, but the strikers also discovered this entrance.
Part of the strikers were mobilized to the entrance that “Evolution” had prepared in a few hours. In particular, they demolished the walls, made a wooden entrance, built a wooden staircase. All this happened in private, because it was private property. We were sitting at the door, and suddenly a security guard came over. One of the strikers, Luka Nadiradze, said that one of the strikers was physically attacked, hit his hand when he did not stand up, and hit him in the head, and then he returned to the building screaming.
Despite the controversy and pressure, the protests will not stop. The employees will not stop and the action will continue today, demanding decent wages and working conditions. A large demonstration is planned for Saturday, and tomorrow the strikers will again try to block the entrance to the “Evolution” building.
