The new Gozo office of the Housing Authority was opened by the Minister for Social and Affordable Housing, Roderick Galdes, and the Gozo Minister for Planning, Clint Camilleri.

“Today’s inauguration further strengthens our commitment to providing everyone with a comfortable and dignified roof over their heads,” said Minister Roderick Galdes.

He further mentioned that “Government has committed to strengthening operational and human resources. As a result, Gozo residents now have a local reference point to get information on the schemes offered by the Housing Authority.”

Minister Clint Camilleri said: “The operations of the Gozo Housing Authority have expanded and, as such, we felt that the services provided should be moved to a location that is more suitable for the needs of our clients.” He added that officers from the Housing Authority will also be operating from a more attractive and comfortable space.

Services that will be provided by the new office include Housing Authority officers providing assistance to Gozo residents in relation to the rental sector and the various schemes administered by the Housing Authority.

From October 1 to June 15, the office will be open from 7:30am to 12:00pm, Monday through Friday. From June 16 to September 30, the office will be open from 7:30am to 11:30am every weekday except Wednesday.
