A huge thank you to the KOA MOANA 2024 team, led by LT Jennifer Katekintha, for their tireless work to improve healthcare in Palau! Through the Palau Health Engagement Grant, they generously donated necessary office supplies to the Palau National Hospital Authority and valuable maintenance tools to our Facilities and Maintenance Department.
Folding chairs, tables, whiteboards, and other office essentials will greatly enhance the workspaces of our hard-working administrative staff. Maintenance tools such as ladders, pliers and wrench sets, stainless steel wet and dry vacuums, safety glasses, pipe wrenches, bolt cutters, tool kit combinations, and more will support our team in keeping the hospital in top shape. Valued at up to $25,000, these donations demonstrate the team’s unwavering commitment to supporting our hospital’s operations.
We sincerely thank you for your partnership and contribution to improving the health and well-being of our community. Your hard work and generosity make a real difference.
KOA MOANA 2024, you are an inspiration to us all!

#gratitude #community #partnership #healthcare #donate #palau We are very grateful to Mr. Takao Abe, a dear friend of Palau, for his unwavering support and generous donation to the Palau National Hospital. On July 17, 2024, Mr. Abe generously donated another $1,500 in cash and 10 essential pulse oximeters. For at least five years, Mr. Abe has demonstrated his deep commitment to the health and well-being of the community through his selfless giving. His out-of-pocket donations have had a significant impact on our hospital’s ability to provide quality care to all. The pulse oximeters will help improve patient care in our hospital clinics, while the generous cash donation will be allocated at the Minister’s discretion to address critical needs in hospitals.
