Beirut (SANA) – The Syrian Embassy in Beirut has denied allegations circulating on some media websites and social media pages that the Syrian authorities are imposing fees on Lebanese citizens for entering the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The embassy’s Facebook page published the following statement: This news is absolutely false, there has been no change in the entry procedure for Lebanese citizens entering Syria.
The embassy said any decision on this or any other issue would be released only through official channels, including on the official page of the Syrian Embassy in Beirut.
