Charlie Boy called on protesters to continue to put pressure on the government to take the necessary measures

Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, a popular veteran entertainer, said the work has just begun after the first day of nationwide protests to “end bad governance” came to an end.

Charlie Boy said Nigerians should continue to exert pressure until the government realises that things are changing.

He said the protest showed that most Nigerians had realised that the government did not care about them.

Large-scale protests broke out in several states in Nigeria on Thursday.

“The brave, strong and determined Nigerian youths make me proud today.

“First of all: Una, congratulations on a job well done. But our work has only just begun.

“When most of us wake up from our slumber and realize that the government no longer cares about us and no longer helps us, we will not help those who don’t help us. We must continue to fight to redeem the future that has been stolen from us.

“Let us keep up the pressure because this diabolical government must understand that the tide is turning.
Unless they start taking the necessary actions, they will never feel safe again.
