Addis Ababa, August 2, 2024 (AFP) The 24 new ambassadors were sworn in before Ethiopian President Sahlework Zemud.
The ambassadors expressed their commitment to safeguarding national interests and performing their duties to the utmost.
The President expects them to perform their duties diligently.
The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Foreign Minister Ambassador Tai Ateske Selassie stressed that serving the country is the greatest honor and they should advance Ethiopia’s interests in bilateral and multilateral fora, noting that they have undergone extensive training in the past three weeks.
