A 51-year-old man was found dead in Samtenling Gewog Choekhorling village in Gsarpang yesterday after he was killed while trying to chase a 15-meter dog.
At the time of the incident, eyewitnesses said that the deceased was carrying several kilograms of elephant fluid and when he was chased for about a meter, the elephant turned back in the middle of the road and he was found near the village. In the morning, they were found near the village.
After a joint examination by the Gelepu police station and the Central Forest Department and the District Medical Center, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family.
The deceased is survived by his wife and three daughters.
