On Wednesday, July 31, the Con Vzla Command questioned President Nicolás Maduro and called him “a liar” after the National Electoral Council (CNE) disclosed the first bulletin of the presidential election results.

According to the Con Vzla Command, “three days after July 28, no one saw the minutes of the meeting that allegedly declared him the winner,” raising doubts about the transparency of the electoral process.

The group said that by law, the CNE must publish voting records no more than 48 hours after polling stations close. “By law, the CNE must publish the minutes within 48 hours of closing the contest,” they said in their account. X.

Furthermore, the Con Vzla Command expressed doubts about the CNE’s explanation of the cyberattack that affected the electoral system.
