Suddenly, Donald Trump looks liberal about women. Sure, he’s in a time warp to 1959, like some tanned, wild-haired swinger in a Las Vegas lounge, talking about skirts and women. Sure, he’s packed the Supreme Court with religious fanatics and taken away women’s rights.
certainly, He was held accountable for sexual assaultwas accused of molesting women and was caught talking about his right to grab women’s private parts. He cheated on his first wife with the woman who became his second wife, then had several more affairs while he was married to his third wife. He cheated on Melania with a porn star while she was at home taking care of their son, and humiliated her again when the Stormy Daniels trial went on.

Sure, his convention swearing-in ceremony was a salute to outdated masculinity, with Hulk Hogan ripping off his shirt and UFC’s Dana White introducing Trump as a boxer. And yet, somehow, Trump managed to select a vice presidential candidate whose views on women are harsher and meaner than his own.
JD Vance, who goes by many names, got off to a rocky start. Last week, he was on Megyn Kelly’s podcast, Wrapping Up for Aisle Feline. She sympathetically asked him about his 2021 rant against Tucker Carlson, calling the top Democrats — Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable about their lives and the choices they’ve made, so they want to make the rest of the country miserable.”
Vance explained to Kelly, “Obviously, that was a sarcastic remark. I have nothing against cats.”
Hahaha. He’s the smartest Republican since Sarah Palin’s laughter. He doubled down on the substance of his earlier argument that only women in traditional marriages who use their uteruses in the way JD Vance sees fit have a “direct interest” in America.
I grew up in a home filled with military uniforms, police uniforms, altar boy uniforms, Girl Scout uniforms, Catholic school uniforms, and the Presidential Medal of Valor. We were devout, patriotic, and incredibly proud to be Americans. And now here comes a ridiculous hypocrite who adjusts his beliefs to fit his ambitions, telling me I have nothing to do with America?

If women cannot fulfill their responsibilities as mothers and partners, they are not real Americans? This is an un-American position and it is despicable.
