Amazon Missed income Second Quarter Earnings Report The company issued a weaker-than-expected current-period earnings forecast on Thursday, sending its shares lower after hours.
Here’s how the company does it:
- income: $1.26 per share, compared with the London Stock Exchange’s expectation of $1.03 per share
- income: $147.98 billion, higher than the London Stock Exchange’s forecast of $148.56 billion
Wall Street is also watching these key numbers:
- Amazon Web Services: According to StreetAccount data, actual sales were $26.3 billion and revenue was $26 billion
- advertise: Revenues were $12.8 billion and $13 billion, respectively, according to StreetAccount
Amazon expects revenue for the current quarter to be between $154 billion and $158.5 billion, an increase of 8% to 11% from the third quarter of last year.
