AAfter weeks of cautious negotiations, the Brussels Socialists agreed on Thursday morning to negotiate with the prime minister, the European Parliament and potential Dutch-speaking partners to try to form a Brussels government.
David Leisterh, head of the Brussels MR List, which is tasked with forming a Brussels government, responded in a Facebook publication: “Today we must build bridges, form a coalition and help restore Brussels.”
“To be able to fully sublimate it during the legislature, we still have to go through several phases of negotiations, but today the three French-speaking parties agreed to enter negotiations and the first phase is complete,” he added.
