The 2024 football season is in full swing and excitement is building as the second round of matches got underway yesterday.
There was a fierce competition between the various divisions, with teams from all corners of the island giving their best, setting the tone for intense competition today and tomorrow.
In the senior women’s competition, Tupapa Maraerenga will take on Titikaveka at the CIFA complex at 5pm. Known for their rock-solid defence and tactical acumen, the black-clad women’s side will be a formidable opponent for Titikaveka. However, Titikaveka will be eager to bounce back after losing to Puaikura at the weekend.
Earlier in the day, the Under-15 boys team will take to the field at 4 p.m.
Tomorrow’s action will begin with the U15 Girls at 4pm, followed by the highlight of the day – the Super Boys clash between Titikaveka and Tupapa Maraerenga at 5pm.
Titikaweka, determined to bounce back from their opening loss to Puakula, will face a strong Tupapa Maralunga side who will be hungry for another win.
