Three incidents have occurred, two of which affected participants in the Norway Cup. It is common for young people to be robbed, threatened with a knife or subjected to violence.

– Police lawyer Marie Steen Habberstad said in a press release that the police have identified several perpetrators and are currently taking measures against them.

Furthermore, she said they did not believe the incidents had anything to do with the fact that the injured party was participating in the Norwegian Cup.

– We take these cases seriously, Halberstad said, especially because the crimes are committed by young people and against other young people.

On Monday and Tuesday this week, 14- and 15-year-old boys travelling to Oslo for the Norway Cup were attacked by a group of boys in Karl Johan Middle.

In both incidents, one of the robbers was said to have displayed a knife. Six underage boys were arrested by police following the robbery on Tuesday but were released shortly afterwards.
