Semantics in the Paris Olympics Celebrations – Ali Muhammad Fakhro

As usual, Paris never tires of repeating this, whether in theatrical advertising or in the boring noise about its perfumes, new fashions or cosmetics, Paris tries to use the same method on the occasion of the opening of the Olympic Games. Its country, through various artistic performances, is extremely symbolic, an extreme challenge to the public’s human taste and an extreme disregard for religious and moral values. It presents various types of Satanic rituals, including the memory of the Last Supper of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and his companions, as a mockery of all kinds of sexual desires, flaunting homosexuality, announcing the arrival of an era of openness, extreme religion, atheism, disregard for the feelings and sanctity of people who believe in Christianity and Islam in France and around the world, and contempt for the noble foundations of the Olympic Games from Athens, Greece to the present day.
To complete the ugly picture of the new call it makes, it has two contradictory faces, blocking Russia from participating because of the war in Ukraine, but it welcomes the Zionist entity, which is condemned by the whole world for practicing genocide and killing peaceful children and women, burning the green dry land of the devastated, besieged Gaza, and describing their illegal settler colonialism in Palestine.
While Paris enthusiastically cheers its acceptance of all types of behavioral diversity, including vulgar sexual morality, in the name of individual freedom, it forgets again in two contradictory ways that it prevents French Muslim women from exercising their personal freedom to wear the Islamic headscarf in public places and official institutions, forgetting that French extremists, who are vowing to grow in power and influence, have declared that if this right comes to power in the future, there will be no place in France for Muslim women who wear the veil. Thus, democratic France claims that homosexuals have rights that religious people do not have. This is the understanding of freedom in modern France.
No insult is intended to any party or any individual. But it is meant to raise a question that we consider to be of vital importance: Could not the high political authorities in France demand that the parties that host these festivals that accompany the Olympic Games avoid political embarrassment by inserting themselves massively into everything different around them? Male and female citizens themselves and the overwhelming majority of male and female citizens participating and not participating? Have the pressures for behavioral deviations from all directions in French society really overcome respect for French and international public taste?
People are confused by the spiritual and psychological blindness that plagues many political and cultural officials of Western societies and prevents them from seeing and realizing that the behavioral, moral and social deviations that Western civilization has recently tried to spread in this world are still the subject of a thousand divergences and disagreements, and that, even in the countries of origin, they will for many centuries to come face to face with the heaps and waves of history, the main schools of thought, the messages of heavenly and earthly religions, the nature of humanity and the conclusions of many scientific studies, without allowing to tamper with all the foundations on which human life has been built from its birth to the present day.
Everything we see confirms the impression that France has a nature that periodically abandons everything beautiful and dazzling in its civilization. Just as it brought the Age of Enlightenment, holding high the three banners of liberty, fraternity and equality, it took the path of colonialism, slavery, plunder, and soon after turned against these bright values. Today, it plunders the wealth of others in the name of civilization, and today it is doing the same thing, subverting the foundations, values ​​and determinants of modernity, to which its main contributors have contributed, writers and artists have contributed in the development of their dazzling creations. Here we see depravity instead of sublimity, marching in darkness instead of light, and acting backwards instead of moving forward in a better and nobler direction.
We want the young men and women of this country to deeply understand what the West has done with modernity and to build their own Arab modernity based on the highest virtues and values.
